Pro-cone Round: For multiple uses and species. Covers 2" max hole with round flange.
Pro-cone Corner: Use over holes in corners. Covers 1-1/2" x 2" max opening.
Vinyl Base Flange: Vinyl flange extends coverage of the cones out to 6" square.
Basic Instructions:
Observation: Find where bats, birds, rats, etc enter and exit the structure. Best observation times are just before dusk or dawn. Activity will help determine how many cones to install.
Installation: It is vital that all other exit points are sealed and that the Batcones are the only way out of the structure. Use simple fasteners or tape to install Batcones. Make sure that the Batcone covers the exit points or holes completely. If the opening is larger than the Batcone, use optional vinyl mesh base flanges to cover the hole. Try to install the Batcone so it points at a downward angle. After all the pests have exited, remove each Batcone and seal up the holes.
Word of Caution: Removing bats during birthing cycles can result in trapped offspring and may be illegal. Contact your state wildlife agency or health department about bat birthing cycles and possible restrictions.
Batcone Excluders are effective and inexpensive exclusion for bats and small animals that often reside inside man made structures. These pests cannot grip the inside of Batcones so once they exit they cannot re-enter the same way.
