BG Mosquito Attractant

BG-Sweetscent is an artificial odor that mimics scents found on human skin. It targets host seeking female mosquitoes. Using BG-Sweetscent as an additional attractant increases the trap catch rate of tiger mosquitoes (Aedes albopictus) and yellow fever mosquitoes (Aedes aegypti). 

The product is a pouch containing a proprietary formulation based on lactic acid which mimics human skin scent. The BG-Sweetscent sachet is effective for up to two months.

BG-Sweetscent is to be used with the BG-Mosquitaire or other traps that attract host seeking mosquitoes. Use of BG-Sweetscent attractant is not recommended with the BG-GAT trap.

If you use BG-Sweetscent with another mosquito trap, the round sticky tape provided on the BG-Sweetscent sachet will allow attachment of the BG-Sweetscent on any mosquito trap. Just pull off the film covering the adhesive on the sachet and press the BG-Sweetscent onto the trap. The BG-Sweetscent can be placed inside the trap, on top, or under the top depending on what trap model is used.
