Electric Bird Shock Tape



Electric Bird Shock Tape system consists of transparent adhesive tape that is 1 1/2" wide with flat aluminum wires embedded into it. Connected to an electrical charger with aluminum jumper wire, it is very effective in keeping birds off of protected areas.  The tape is very flexible and can be easily attached to a variety of shapes and objects.

Best used for residential or light commercial projects.  For larger industrial jobs please review the Shock Track page.

Shock Tape is available in 52 ft and 33 ft Rolls and can be attached to nearly any type of surface such as: shingles, iron, steel, aluminum, PVC, wood, plastic, marble, stone etc.

White coated aluminum jumper wire to complete the connection is available in 330 ft and 26 ft lengths.
(Do not use copper jumper wire for connections)

Aluminum Crimp connectors are are sold in 100 count bags.

Use to repel all bird species including seagulls, pigeons, vultures, crows, starlings and sparrows.  Ideal control for sign letters, roof peaks, AC units, exposed trusses, window sills, ledges, beams, skylights, parapets etc.  


Installation Instructions:
  1. Peel the tape
  2. Attach it to the surface (You can use the J Roller to press the tape into place)
  3. Raise the 2 aluminum wires
  4. Crimp the connectors tightly on the wires
  5. Connect the electrical wires to the charger
  6. Connect the charger to an outlet
  7. Done!
